Should I fall for you,
Or stay standing on the top of the mountain,
Waiting for you to fall first.

I just want to spend some time with you,

Cuddled together in front of the fire,

And talk about anything on our minds,

Just because we can.

As I watch others around me live their life, I realize that I am not.

You stand in front of me as if in a dream living in a reality crumbling beneath my feet.

In the end all you have is yourself and the memories attached to it.

Time goes by so much faster than the hands shifting along inside your wrist watch.

I want to be able to open my eyes,
And see yo next too me,
Just so I can stop dreaming of it.

It was my words that brought us together, it was my words that tore us a part.

My words can only take up so much space between you and I, standing side by side.

Breaking the mold with a pickaxe of words.

Took a stroll down memory lane, The cliff was too steep to climb.

Keep me from my past, guide me toward my future.

I cast a shadow,
Not from the sun shining beside me,
I cast a shadow,
Trying to find a way to get get as far away from myself as possible.

If you don't let me go,
I may never be able fully hold on.
